Telefónica Deutschland, the German brand of international wireless carrier Telefónica, will be launching a new digital wallet and a smartphone-to-smartphone direct money transfer service, the company announced today.
China is getting its very own mobile wallet. And given the size of the Chinese market, it could become a very important player in a very short time. The new product is from e-payment company Alipay, which is kind of like the Chinese version of PayPal. The company announced it is launching its Alipay Wallet mobile app to facilitate both in-store and online purchases through a mobile device.
